Em homenagem ao feriado de hoje, escolhi essa canção no mínimo tocante dos Beatles para viajar. Depois tem gente que ainda duvida que eles têm uma canção especial pra cada momento. Quem diria que até pra esse dia? Na verdade muita gente já conhece essa, pois é uma das mais famosas dos caras. Saiu em 1970, no álbum de mesmo nome, chamado "Let It Be". Segue a letra:

Vamos à andança...

Já ouvi algumas histórias em relação a essa música. A principal delas diz que Paul sonhou com sua mãe, Mary McCartney que havia morrido quando ele era jovem, e ela dizia no sonho: "Tudo vai ficar vem". Então ele acordou com a melodia na cabeça e compôs "Let it be". A música traz essa mensagem reconfortante e carinhosa que só uma mãe pode nos trazer mesmo. E o mais interessante é que pelo nome "Mary", a música permite também uma interpretação religiosa, daí o porque dela estar sendo postada hoje, no dia de Nossa Senhora Aparecida. Veja se não combina: "Quando eu me encontro em horas de problemas, mãe Maria vem até mim, dizendo palavras de sabedoria: deixa estar. E em minhas horas escuras, ela aparece bem na minha frente, dizendo palavras de sabedoria: deixa estar". Bonito imaginar isso. Sendo a própria mãe de McCartney ou a Ave Maria é emocionante ver como essa figura traz conforto ao rapaz. Traz paz, sabedoria, coragem. Tudo por "sussurrar as palavras de sabedoria: deixa estar". Além disso, só a filosofia que representa o "let it be" já é bacana. Por que se preocupar? Por que ficar nervoso? Por que deixar qualquer coisinha estragar seu dia? Deixa estar. Perdoa e esqueça. Não se deixe abalar. Deixa estar. Don't Worry. Isso me lembra um pouco até o conselho de mãe do Skynyrd. Mas voltando: a instrumentação de Paul no piano é intocável assim como a voz dele, que no refrão consegue trazer aqueles graves que só ele consegue - preste atenção naquele "let it be" especial que ele solta de repente. Os backings de Harrison e Lennon são, como sempre, incríveis (veja no vídeo) trazendo mais serenidade e emoção pra música. Além disso, tem o solo que não vou nem comentar pra não chorar. Aliás é bom eu terminar esse post logo, pelo mesmo motivo ;)
